Is AIToolsay really free?
Yes — every tool, course, prompt and resource on AIToolsay is free to use, with no trial, no credit card and no hidden tier. The platform is funded by optional listings and sponsorships, never by paywalling the directory.
Do I need an account?
No. You can browse and use everything as a guest. An account only adds the convenience features — saving favourites, following categories, and getting the weekly digest.
How are tools reviewed and verified?
Every listing is checked by a human before it goes live: the link, the pricing claim, the category and the description. Tools that go dead or change their pricing model are re-checked and re-labelled.
How often is new content added?
Daily. New tools, models, prompts and news land continuously, and existing entries are revisited so the details stay accurate rather than frozen at the date they were added.
Can I submit my own AI tool?
Yes — use the Submit a Tool form. Submissions are reviewed by an editor, and you will hear back either way rather than being left wondering.
What is the difference between AI Tools and the AI Directory?
AI Tools are the free utilities you can run right here on AIToolsay. The AI Directory is the catalogue of third-party AI products, with pricing, alternatives and reviews for each one.

How much does it cost to list my tool?

A standard listing is completely free and always will be. Paid plans exist only if you want to skip the queue, get a featured badge or take a sponsored slot — you can see exactly what each one includes in the pricing section above.
How long does it take to get listed?
Review
Free submissions are reviewed in the order they arrive, usually within 5–7 days. Featured submissions are reviewed within 48 hours and sponsored submissions within 24 hours. You will get an email at every stage, and you can watch progress live from your submissions dashboard.
Does my listing expire?

Free and Featured listings are permanent — once approved your tool stays in the directory. Sponsored placements run for the period you paid for, after which the listing stays but the sponsored position ends.
Can I update my listing later?

Yes. Open your submissions dashboard, choose the listing and request an update. Changes to descriptions, screenshots and links go through a short re-review so the directory stays accurate.
Why was my tool not listed?
Review
The most common reasons are a broken or paywalled link, a tool that is not actually AI-powered, a duplicate of something already listed, or a description that promises features the product does not have. We always send the specific reason, and you can fix it and resubmit.
Can I submit more than one tool?

Absolutely. Submit each tool separately so it gets its own listing page, category placement and reviews. If you have a large catalogue, the Enterprise plan handles bulk listings with a single point of contact.
Can you guarantee sales or traffic?

No, and be careful with anyone who does. We can guarantee placement, a real backlink and exposure to a large, targeted AI audience. How that converts depends on your product, your landing page and your pricing.
Do you work with agencies?

Yes. Agencies submitting on behalf of clients should use the client's contact email so review updates reach the tool owner directly. The Enterprise plan is built for this.
What is the refund policy?

If we reject a paid submission, you get a full refund automatically — you are never charged for a listing that does not go live. If you change your mind before review starts, contact us and we will refund it.

How quickly can a campaign go live?

Most campaigns are live within 24–48 hours of approval. Newsletter placements follow the send schedule, so those depend on the next available slot — we will tell you the exact date before you pay.
Is there a minimum spend?

Every placement is priced per month or per send with no separate retainer, and there is no long-term contract on any package. The smallest thing you can buy here is a single newsletter send.
How do you count a click?

A click is a unique human visitor following your link to your site. We filter bots, repeat clicks from the same visitor inside 24 hours, and known data-centre traffic before anything is counted. Placements on this page are billed by the month rather than by the click, and the same filtering decides what counts as a visit in your report.
Can I target specific categories only?

Yes. You can stack category, keyword, geography, device and audience targeting on any placement, and it does not change the monthly rate. Narrower targeting reaches fewer people and converts a higher share of them, which is almost always the better trade.
What creative do you need from me?

A logo, a headline, a short description and a destination URL is enough to start. If you have banners we will use them; if you do not, our team will produce them at no extra cost on monthly packages.
Do you offer conversion tracking?

Can I pause or cancel a campaign?

Do you accept every advertiser?

No. We turn down anything misleading, adult, or unrelated to AI, and we will not run a competitor ad inside a category that is exclusively sponsored.
Are the links dofollow?

How long do posts stay live?

What is the turnaround?

Do you accept AI-written drafts?

Can I choose the anchor text?

How do you verify I own the tool?

What gets a GPT rejected?

How does verification work?

We check the GPT is published under your OpenAI account and that you control the site or social profile you list. Usually a matching email domain or a post from the linked account is enough.
Can I edit my listing later?

Yes. Small corrections are free. Substantial rewrites go through the listing update service so they get a proper review.
Do you take a cut of paid GPTs?

Why is there no free listing?

Because a free tier turns a directory into a dumping ground, and then nobody trusts anything on it. $5 is low enough that any real developer can afford it and high enough that nobody bulk-submits forty throwaway extensions. Every listing here was paid for and installed by a reviewer.
What exactly do I get for $5?

The full listing, permanently: your own detail page with screenshots, a plain-English permission breakdown, version history, pricing, category and tag placement, and a human review within 48 hours. The only things it does not include are the do-follow links and sponsored placement.
What are the do-follow links, exactly?

On Featured and Sponsored, your listing carries two links that pass ranking signal — one to your company page and one to your developer page. Premium listings link to you too, but those links are nofollow. You give us both URLs in the submission form.
How does the one-week sponsorship work?

The sponsored week starts the day your listing publishes, not the day you pay, so review time never eats into it. For those seven days your extension is pinned to the top of its category and rotates through the sponsored slot on the directory. Afterwards it stays live as a Featured listing forever.
What gets an extension rejected?

A store link that does not resolve, broad permissions with no explanation, undisclosed data collection, no real screenshot, or anything in the prohibited list — affiliate injection, search hijacking, ad replacement, obfuscated remote code. We always tell you which, and you can fix it and resubmit at no extra cost.
Do I get a refund if you reject it?

If we reject it for something you can fix, you resubmit free — no second payment. If we reject it outright because it is not eligible at all (unlisted, not yours, or on the prohibited list), you get a full refund.
My extension ships for Chrome, Edge and Firefox. Is that three orders?
