Every outcome, across the map

Start with the outcome. All Skill Tags

A capability area says where a skill sits on the map. A tag says what it gets you — and a skill can carry several, so a tag gathers them from every area at once.

How Skill Tags work here

A area files a skill once by what it is. Tags follow it everywhere by what it is for — one skill, several jobs, every job a page of its own.

THE OTHER WAY IN

Jobs, not shelves

A area says what a skill is. A tag says what it is for — and that cuts straight across every area at once, so you can start from the job instead of guessing the shelf.

One skill, many tags

A skill is filed under exactly one area, but it can carry as many tags as it earns. That is what lets the same skill turn up under every job it actually does.

Counts that do not lie

Every number on this page is counted live from published skills, each one counted once. Nothing is read from a stored total that an archived row would leave behind.

A peek before you click

Each card shows the skills actually behind the tag, by name, before you open it — so an empty shelf is visible from here rather than one click later.

Applied by people

Tags are chosen by an editor while the skill is being reviewed, in the AI Skills editor — never scraped from a keyword list — so a tag means the skill really does that job.

Empty means honest

A tag with nothing behind it yet stays on the page and says so. A zero here is a job we have not filled, not one we are hiding from the list.

What is the difference between an AI skill and an AI tool?

A skill is a capability, like Text Generation or OCR. A tool is a product that provides one or more of those capabilities. This directory maps the two so you can start from what you need done.

How do you decide which tools support a skill?

Each mapping is curated and records a support level — native, partial, via integration, or beta — so a tool that does something through a plugin is never presented as if it were built in.

Can one tool have several skills?

Yes, and most do. A single assistant might cover text generation, summarisation, vision and function calling, which is why it appears on several skill pages.
