Questions about updates

Why is there a fee to update a listing?

Every change is reviewed by a person before it goes live, which is what keeps the directory trustworthy. The fee covers that review. Correcting something factually wrong that we got wrong is always free — just tell us.

How do you verify I own the tool?

Usually your email domain matching the tool domain is enough. If it does not, we will ask you to add a meta tag to your site or reply from an address on the domain.

How long does an update take?

Basic updates are reviewed within 48 hours, Priority within 24. Once approved, changes are live immediately.

Can I roll back a change?

Yes. Every version of your listing is snapshotted. Tell us which version you want and we will restore it at no charge.

What if my update is rejected?

We tell you exactly why and what to change, and you can resubmit at no extra cost. If we cannot make it work at all, you get a refund.

Can I update more than one listing?

Yes — submit one request per listing. If you manage more than five, contact us about a bulk arrangement.

Do you edit my copy?

Only on Full Refresh, and only with your approval. On Basic and Priority we publish what you send, minus obvious typos.
